Take Your Sweet Time by Marse Lee
Take Your Sweet Time by Marse Lee
A take on the painting The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dalí. Marse Lee wanted to call attention to the instances where time affects us. In Take Your Sweet Time, the cake with the candle symbolises birthdays and aging, and the simple checkerboard represents thinking of your next move while the clock is ticking. Finally, the phone represents anxiousness and excitement that comes from waiting for a phone call.
