Swamp God by Charmaine Tan
Swamp God by Charmaine Tan
Childhood was a realm of adventure and whimsy; where critters were elevated to the status of gods, and family members transformed into frogs. Charmaine's surreal reinterpretation of these tales evokes moments of nostalgia and joy, serving as a poignant reminder of the comforting embrace of home and the individuals who leave their mark upon it.

About The Artist
About The Artist
Charmaine Tan, also known by her alias Fraunfraun, is a Singapore-based illustrator and 3D artist whose colourful creations blend surreal imagery with familiar sights from the world around us. Drawing inspiration from her experiences, she weaves together fiction and reality; with visuals from the films she has watched, to the natural world she grew up with. She explores the concept of home through memory, an ever-changing entity that transforms loved ones into frogs, or feelings into ethereal shapes and abstractions.
