NEOTHAICIVILIZATION by KNN.5
NEOTHAICIVILIZATION by KNN.5
This is KNN.5's interpretation of the legendary Himmapan forest from Thai mythology, inspired by Salvador Dalí's The Elephants. The surreal forest in this work features an eclectic mix of Thai icons – such as the Royal Elephant, famous landmarks such as Sao-Ching-Cha, and the popular amulet called Ta-Krud – together with world pop-culture references like the trendy clothing and electronic gadgets, and a motorcycle inspired by the Japanese manga Akira.
