In early June 2023, Jakarta was ranked as one of 10 cities with the worst AQI (Air Quality Index) in the world, based on IQAir data. The air pollution was due to the dry season and transportation, residential, and industrial emissions. This illustration depicts a worker strolling through Sudirman Central Business District, on a roofless bridge that was designed as an "Instagrammable" spot.
