"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate." — C.G. Jung
A figure hovers above the shadow of a moth.
In Elevating, Shu confronts her lepidopterophobia: a fear of butterflies and moths.
The shadow, shaped like a moth, embodies her fears, following her wherever there is light. This symbolises the inevitability of our shadows and the importance of integrating them.
Eyes covered, she steps into the unknown: a leap of transformation and balance between fear and courage, light and shadow.
