In this piece, the artist plays with the conventions of framing and display, reimagining the humble easel as both artwork and frame. Sculpted from air-dry clay, the work humorously inverts the function of an easel by mounting it on the wall—challenging the viewer’s expectations of how art should be presented.

Cradled within this sculptural frame is a print titled She with the Braided Eyes (Back Profile) by fellow Malaysian artist Shu, adding a layer of collaboration and conversation between the two practices. Through this work, Money Wang invites reflection on the act of presentation itself, where the structure holding the art becomes part of the artwork’s meaning.
